Chairman of the Board is a 1998 comedy film directed by Alex Zamm, starring Courtney ThorneSmith and Carrot Top. In the film, a surfer and inventor named Edison inherits and runs a billionaires company. It was poorly received by both critics and audiences.

Chairman of the Board has received negative reviews, currently holding a Rotten Tomatoes approval rating of 13.During a promotional appearance for the film on Late Night with Conan OBrien, ThorneSmith was the second guest after comedian Norm Macdonald, who frequently interrupted ThorneSmiths attempt to promote the movie with jokes about Carrot Top and the movie failing at the box office, going so far as to say that the films title should be Box Office Poison. This led to the apparent surprise and amusement of OBrien, the audience, and even ThorneSmith.
